Urology Associates of North Texas (UANT) has many locations and approximately 50 physicians in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Our physician, clinical and business staff is continually growing. There are many challenging opportunities in our urological group practice. AR Representative
Description: Review patient accounts,perform various collections actions including contacting patient and insurance companies. Answer inquiries and correspondence from patients and insurance companies. Research credit balances.
Required Experience: Medical collection experience
Medical insurance background
Necessary Skills: Knowledge of basic medical coding
Knowledge of collection practices
Ability to enter data accurately and examine insurance documents
Deal courteously with patients, staff and others
Communicate effectively and clearly
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent
| RMA/CMA – Grapevine
Description: Responsible for providing nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Assists physicians and staff in coordinating patient care. Functions as primary liaison between patients, staff and physicians.
Provides general nursing care to patients.
Prepares equipment and assists physician during treatment, examination and testing of patients.
Maintains exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials. Ensures cleanliness.
Prepares list of medical supplies needed.
Greets patients and prepares them for physician examination.
Responds to/refers incoming patient treatment-related phone calls.
Required Experience:
Necessary Skills: Skills/Qualifications: Clinical Skills, Creating a Safe, Effective Environment, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Procedural Skills, Documentation Skills, Verbal Communication, Inventory Control, Dependability, Teamwork
Required Education: Must be Registered or Certified and have a high school diploma or GED.
